Anacapa Island to Two Harbors

This is a picture of our evening anchorage on Anacapa Island (east Fishermans Camp).  We were wide awake at 2:00am so decided tp pull up anchor and head on over to Isthmus Cove on Catalina Island aka Two Harbors.  Fog had rolled in and while pulling up our 125' of chain the windlass decided to take a break.  Pulling up the remaining 70' by hand, while good exercise, is not fun.  Quickly rigged up a hook and line and pulled it up using a winch.  Time consuming having to re-hook every 15' or so but pretty easy.  2 hrs later we were on our way in thick fog and flat calm seas.  Today we are heading over to Avalon and will have a look at the windlass this afternoon.  Looks like another hot one today.
