Carnival World

                                                                La Paz Carnival

                                                                          Feb. 7th - 12th.

We anchored out to be close to the excitement of Carnival.  The bands were loud and the Malecon was lit up until 4:00 a.m. every night.  To keep our dingy safe we traveled over to Marina de La Paz and tied up to "Emerald Lady" who was in a slip.  Kelly joined us (as her husband John was in Seattle) as we walked down the malecon and joined up with other sailor friends.  A few nights we just sat on the boat and watched all the festivities.  It was a great week of parades, bar hopping and lets not forget the food.  A good time was had by all.
