If the Phone Doesn't Ring it's Me

Heading back out to the Islands for a couple of weeks.  We are planning on being back in La Paz for Carnival on the 7th of February, this will  be where we are going to be anchored out.  It will be a short dingy ride to the malecon and we should be able to hear the music all night long from the festivities that go non-stop for 5 days.

The weather has been cold here the last week, locals are saying that this is the coldest winter that they can remember.  The port has been closed by the Port Captain and no one has been able to leave due to the high winds and seas.  We made the best of it and got some chores done, some visiting done and explored the town a little and found yet another beach bar.  In this photo I am standing on the waters edge looking back at the bar.  The port opened yesterday and the anchorage is slowly emptying out with the boats that were stuck and trying to get over to the mainland.  We are all stocked up and ready to explore some more anchorages and beaches.  So if the phone doesn't ring you know that it will be us, exploring some beach, somewhere.
