Santa Cruz Island

Sitting here anchored in Smugglers Cove on Santa Cruz Island. Beautiful 28* day with 10kts of wind out of the west. Hoisted sails as soon as we had left the harbour. 5.8 sog the whole way across the bay and after 5 hrs of a great sail the engine was started and we entered our anchorage and dropped the hook. Landing rums were had and tacos are on the menu with coronas. A day of exploring the beach is planned for tomorrow. Will study the charts to find our next destination.

SWEET!! glad to see you are up and running. We are in Isla Coronados, just north of Loreto, and have been sailing with terry and diane on SV Harmony from Annecortes. Jeanne caught a nice dorado on the sail down today, sure wish you were here to share it!
